INTRODUCTION

KD-XUSB2 extender kit extends high bandwidth USB 1.1 – USB 2.0 signals over a single CAT5e/6 cable, without any driver installation required. KD-XUSB2 is an excellent choice for applications like conference rooms, classrooms, offices, and connected homes.

USB Device Integration
The KD-XUSB2 USB 2.0 extender allows host laptops, computers, smart TVs, and appliances to establish connections with an array of USB 2.0 devices. They include webcams, keyboard & mouse, hard drives, printers, scanners, USB microphones, touchscreen displays, conferencing DSPs, and more. This versatility ensures that users can easily integrate a diverse set of USB peripherals into their setups.

Extended Signal Range
The KD-XUSB2 USB CAT5 extender allows users to extend USB signals up to 164ft/50m using only one CAT5e/6 cable.

This extender kit streamlines cable management and installation, providing flexibility in device placement, and delivering reliable data far beyond the cable length limitations of passive USB cabling.

Transmitter and Receiver Connectivity
The transmitter has a USB-B port for connecting to the host, while the receiver boasts two USB-A ports for the USB peripheral devices.

Users can also connect the receiver to a USB hub, for support up to 15 devices.

Additionally, only the transmitter requires a power connection, simplifying the installation process.
